We are seeking 1 Community Builder (full-time) to grow and activate our caregiver and partner communities so we can gain traction quickly in Singapore ahead of our MVP launch.
On-site or hybrid (Singapore).
Entire organisation meets weekly on Tuesday 9pm-10pm Singapore which you must be able to attend.
In this role you will report to the CEO and partner with our community manager.
Our community isn’t a marketing channel — it is how we design our product. Caregivers’ voices will directly shape what we build, and this role is critical to that.
You own growth and activation; our community manager owns day-to-day moderation and member support.
Key Responsibilities
- Community growth & activation
- Build and execute a community growth plan (online + offline) with weekly targets.
- Own our community channels (e.g., WhatsApp/Telegram, Reddit, Facebook groups, Instagram/TikTok) and keep them active with consistent programming.
- Design and run onboarding flows so new members become active quickly.
- Programs that create traction
- Build acquisition loops: referrals, ambassador programs, challenges, and community-led storytelling.
- Run local meetups, webinars, and partner co-hosted events that convert into waitlist sign-ups.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Partnerships to align messaging, offers, and event themes.
- Content that drives growth (social + email)
- Create consistent content to grow our social media following (short posts, caregiver stories, educational threads, event promos).
- Run campaigns in relevant social media groups (Facebook Groups, Telegram communities, and other caregiver-focused groups): outreach, posting cadence, community-friendly value posts, and conversion CTAs.
- Build and run a lightweight email capture engine: lead magnets, landing page copy, and sign-up flows aligned to campaigns.
- Work with Marketing to repurpose community insights into high-performing content and improve conversion rates.
- Partnership & network building
- Grow our partner network (care orgs, clinicians, social workers, NGOs, eldercare groups, patient advocacy groups).
- Create repeatable partner playbooks for co-marketing and community co-hosting.
- PR, events, and media placements
- Pitch and secure speaking slots, panels, and community events to accelerate trust and top-of-funnel growth.
- Get Dez Labs featured on relevant podcasts, newsletters, and local news by building a targeted outreach list and running consistent outreach.
- Coordinate with Marketing on briefs, talking points, and follow-up content to turn placements into follower growth and email sign-ups.
- Measurement & iteration
- Track metrics weekly (growth, activation, retention, conversions) and run experiments to improve them.
- Turn community feedback into clear insights for Product and GTM.
Must-Have Experience
- Proven track record growing communities. You must show evidence (case studies, metrics, before/after, links).
- Strong execution: you can plan, run, and improve programs without needing constant direction.
- Excellent communication and empathy, especially with caregivers and health-related communities.
- Comfortable running events and partnerships, both in-person and online.
